About us

We give girls and young women a roadmap and someone in their corner.

Her Voice Project is a New York-based community mentorship organization dedicated to empowering girls and young women by providing mentorship, resources, and access to opportunities that support their personal and professional growth.

Our mission

To make sure no young woman has to figure it out alone. We pair girls and young women with mentors, connect them to practical resources, and open doors to rooms, internships, and experiences that too often stay closed.

Our vision

A generation of young women who move through the world with purposeful focus grounded in who they are, clear about where they are going, and surrounded by community that believes them.

What we stand for

Mentorship that lasts

Consistent, caring relationships with women who have walked the path and stay for the whole journey.

A roadmap, early

Guidance through school, college, first jobs, and the rooms nobody prepares you for.

Confidence first

Girls learn to be confident in who they are, not who a room expects them to be.

Community over competition

We build with brands, local partners, Universities, small businesses, and neighbors who show up for each other.

What mentorship looks like

01

One-to-one matching

Mentees are matched with mentors based on goals, background, and the kind of support they are looking for.

02

Workshops & circles

Group sessions on confidence, boundaries, college and career navigation, money, and wellbeing.

03

Community events

Clothing drives, giveaways, and neighborhood partnerships that meet real needs right now.

Who we serve

Girls and young women across New York  including first-generation students, young people in and aging out of foster care, and anyone navigating higher education or minority spaces without a roadmap.
